Ok, what is going on and when did we move to Alaska. It is June and we have had 2 days over 70 degrees and 200 days in the 40's. We have waited since Ellie got her new bike in February to ride bikes to school and finally the weather cooperated just in time for the last week of school. The bike baby carrier is my favorite purchase of the year. Scarlett, Ellie and I ride up to school in the morning and then Scarlett and I pick her up after school and cruise home on our bikes. It is liberating to be able to throw the baby on the bike and take off. Between me taking Scarlett to Einsteins for a bagel and Robert taking Scarlett to Starbucks for a treat she goes on at least 2 to 3 bike rides a day. Yipee, It might start being warm enough to break a sweat.Speaking of warm enough, the first day the temperature got above 60 degrees my cute girls stripped down and played in water on the back patio like it was 90 degrees out. They were so excited to be outside and not freezing as you can see from the smiles on their faces. Robert and I were probably inside still wearing our sweats.
